Sonatrach Concludes Collective Agreement with Union

A new collective agreement was concluded Tuesday between the general management of Sonatrach and the national union of this company, allowing the regularization of the situation of certain professional categories, indicated a joint statement of the two parties.

This collective agreement, concluded between the CEO of SONATRACH, Tewfik Hakkar and the General Secretary of the national union of the company, Khellaf Djerroud, mainly aims to complete the collective agreement of February 19, 2019 relating to holders of “BAC + 3 years” diplomas. as well as the regularization of the professional situation of workers holding higher diplomas “BAC + 3 years” (six semesters) with the title other than the LMD license and the DEUA, notes the same source.

It also involves the application of new measures relating to the regularization of the socio-professional situation of internal security personnel through a salary structure based on a reconstituted base salary added to “the group seniority allowance. ”(IAG), a bonus for the termination of the employment relationship at age 60 including the IAG, the establishment of a new annual promotion procedure, the benefit of the medal bonus and the extension of the duration of the contract.

On the other hand, this agreement includes the revision of the amounts of several allowances such as those for shift work, nuisances, food as well as the transitory allowance for the northern industrial zone (ITZIN).

The press release also recalls that the work of the Collective Agreement Commission relating to the revision of the compensation scheme will continue “shortly”.
