Sonatrach and Eni management met on June 1 to review the progress of the work concerning exploration and production projects, current initiatives, training, biorefining, international opportunities and renewable energy projects, in particular the construction and implementation of the solar laboratory, the implementation of which is planned for the fourth quarter of 2021.
On the sidelines of this meeting, an amendment was signed to the Contract for the purchase and sale of natural gas signed between Sonatrach and Eni in 1977.
This amendment to the gas sales contract sets the commercial conditions for the delivery of natural gas for the gas year 2021-2022. It also defines the principles of delivery by Sonatrach to Eni of additional volumes on the Italian market.
This Addendum reaffirms the commitment of the two parties to consolidate their existing relations and continue their traditional partnership, once again indicating their willingness to strengthen long-term cooperation.
