Oil services giant Schlumberger organized the Libyan Oil Renaissance Forum in Istanbul, Turkey. Staff from the National Oil Corporation and its companies attended including NOC Chairman of the Board, Eng. Mustafa Sanallah, as well as the President and CEO of Schlumberger, Olivier Le Peuch.
Over three days a variety of topics were discussed including techniques for the re-entry of wells and improving their productivity. A section was also devoted to the technologies available from Schlumberger in the field of evaluation and rehabilitation of surface equipment.
