Oyo Drilling Permit Approved

Nigeria’s Department of Petroleum (DPR) approved Allied Energy Plc’s application for a drilling permit for Oyo well #7, according to a release from CAMAC Energy.

“DPR’s approval of the drilling permit for Oyo well #7 puts us one step closer to spudding the well, increasing Pliocene production, and testing the Miocene exploration potential in OML 120 and 121,” said senior VP of Exploration and Production Segun Omidele.
