Libya: Sirte Oil Sees Successful Drilling Program at Zelten and Wadi Fields

Sirte Oil and Gas recently completed drilling two oil wells in the Libyan desert using the Real Time Reservoir Mapping (RTRM) horizontal drilling technology in the Zelten and Wadi fields.

The first well (C355H-6) was drilled in the Zelten field as part of the first phase of the production increase plan for 2024, while the second well (D27H-149) is part of the “Meem” reservoir development plan in the Wadi field.

Evaluation tests conducted last week showed that the Zelten field well is capable of flowing at a rate exceeding 1,200 barrels of oil per day, while the Wadi field well records a rate estimated at about 1,100 barrels per day.
