Fiber Optic Systems Technology, Inc., a developer of patented fiber optic sensing products, announced October 25 that it has entered into an agreement with IRT Oil and Gas Limited, based in Nigeria, the largest oil producing country in Africa and one of the top 10 natural gas locations worldwide, to provide marketing and sales, engineering, and field support to the African continent.
Dr. Jackson E. Gaius-Obaseki, Chairman of IRT Oil and Gas Limited is expected to help advance FOX-TEK sales in Africa through his experience and extensive contacts in the oil and gas industry. Gaius-Obaseki was formerly the Group Managing Director of NNPC, the state-owned oil and gas concern.
Gary Jolly, FOX-TEK President and CEO feels that the partnership with IRT and Dr. Gaius –Obaseki should provide FOX-TEK with strategic and effective representations in one of the world’s major oil and gas producing regions. “It is a significant addition to our growing global sales and operations support infrastructure," Jolly said.
