Egypt Plans Three Bid Rounds in 2023

Speaking during the inauguration of the 6th Egypt Petroleum Show in Cairo, Egypt’s Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tarek El-Molla said on Sunday that three international oil and gas bid rounds will be launched over 2023. The tenders will be launched through the “Egypt Upstream Gateway” as were the four 2022 predecessor rounds.

EGAS already made an announcement in January regarding its bid round for oil and gas which will include six offshore and six onshore areas in the Mediterranean and Nile Delta.
