Egypt Extends EGAS Bid Round Closing Date

The closing date for the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) bid round, launched in December, has been extended to June 1, 2023, according to the Egypt Upstream Gateway (EUG).

The EGAS bid round offers 12 open blocks, six offshore and six onshore areas in the Mediterranean and Nile Delta for exploration.

This bid round is the third to be launched using the latest digital features of the Egyptian Upstream Gateway.
