ANPG Updates Angola’s August Oil Production

Angola’s oil production for the month of August was 35 011 434 barrels, corresponding to a daily average of 1,129 401 barrels of oil (bopd) against 1 250 243 BOPD forecast. The production of associated gas during the same period was 84 740 million cubic feet, corresponding to a daily average of 2734 million cubic feet (Mmscf/d) and 1353 injected Mmscf/d, 701 Mmscf/d provided to ALNG factory 44 3 Mmscf/d for power generation at petroleum facilities and remainder used in oil operations and flow.

During August, the ALNG Plant produced 3,813,610 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE), corresponding to a daily average of 123,020 barrels of oil equivalent (boepd), with LNG production being 98,427 boepd, 11 392 boepd propane, 7 404 boepd butane and 5,796 boe condensates.

In the same period, the associated gas production of the Cabinda Association was 1.138 Mmscf/d allowing the extraction of 441,408 barrels of LPG corresponding to a daily average of 14 239 barrels, with a daily production of propane of 8,282 barrels, butane of 5 504 barrels and 453 barrel LPG.
