The National Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANPG) will make available, this Friday, April 23rd, on its website, a video presentation in English about the licensing round process for the Onshore Basins of the Lower Congo and Kwanza.
Luanda, Angola, April 23rd 2021 – All English-speaking investors interested in the licensing round process for the oil blocks located on the Lower Congo and Kwanza Onshore Basins will have access to a technical presentation in video format, available from this Friday, April 23rd. The video, which is an alternative to the traditional roadshows, will be hosted on the ANPG website (www.anpg.co.ao) and will provide technical information on the licensing round for Blocks CON1, CON5 and CON6 (Lower Congo Basin) and Blocks KON5, KON6, KON8, KON9, KON17 and KON20 (Lower Kwanza Basin).
In addition, interested investors in this process can schedule online meetings with ANPG – both in English and Portuguese language – for a better insight of the potential and necessary requirements, through the e-mail [email protected] and by mobile through the number +244 931 793 204.
Note that the ongoing promotion will end with the official Public Tender launch, on April 30th, when the rules, procedures and terms of reference will be disclosed.
After the launch of the tender, investors have up to 40 days to submit their proposals, as well as the proof of payment of the entry fee, documents stating its good reputation, and both its technical and financial capability. These documents are relevant to evaluate if interested parties comply with the legal requirements of an associate of the national concessionaire, regarding the status of an operator and non-operator.
