BW Offshore reports that the company has signed a short-term extension for the lease and operation of the FPSO Espoir Ivoirien in order to discuss a potential purchase of the FPSO by the client. The firm period has been extended until June 15, 2023.
There have been multiple contract extensions for the FPSO Espoir Ivoirien including an April extension that also noted the extension was for purchase discussions.
Partners in the Espoir field include Canadian Natural Resources, Tullow Oil, and state firm Petroci.
