Anchor Industries aligns itself with global players at the Oil & Gas Africa 2010 Expo
Anchor Industries recently participated in the Oil & Gas Africa 2010 Expo at the Cape Town International Convention Centre and was amongst local and international role players and service providers to the upstream oil and gas industry.
A founding member of SAOGA, Anchor Industries invited and hosted their international partners and equipment suppliers to share their knowledge and experience with visitors at the Expo. These partners through several seminars tackled various topics relating to the industry, such as the manufacturing and certification process of heavy lifting products in the oil and gas market. Among the experts at the Anchor Industries stand were Duncan Cuthill from Viking Moorings; Edwin Jefferies from United Offshore Services and Frank Schuurman from GN Rope Fittings. “We’ve seen great potential for growth and expansion in the Southern African oil and gas industry and we look forward to exploring this market with Anchor Industries,” says Cuthill.
“As a marketing exercise, this Expo has provided us with a great opportunity to strengthen our relationship with our clients, while reaffirming our position amongst our competitors”, says Dale Hutcheson, Anchor Industries Managing Director.
