Algeria’s state oil firm, the Sonatrach Group, has launched an experimental research project for the purification of industrial wastewater using solar energy. This project is being undertaken in coordination with the Center for the Development of Renewable Energies (CDER), according to a group press release.
This new project aims to encourage research and development with the various national scientific and technical centers.
“Committed to encouraging research and development with the various national scientific and technical centers, Sonatrach has carried out through its laboratory and in cooperation with the CDER an experimental research project for the purification of industrial waste water by solar energy.”
