The Algerian Petroleum Institute (IAP), under Sonatrach, has signed a training cooperation agreement with the Tunisian Society of Refining Industries (STIR), aimed at establishing a training partnership, a press release from the Sonatrach group informed.
The agreement signed between the two parties is the culmination of the discussions held between the officials of the IAP and the Tunisian party, with a view to establishing a partnership in the field of training and contributing to the process of developing the skills of its personnel in the technical trades and cross-functional trades related to the Hydrocarbons activity.
An application contract was also signed, as a concrete expression of this cooperation for training in the field of Refining and Maintenance. Said training will take place on the site of the STIR in Tunisia for its theoretical part and at the level of the installations of Sonatrach in Algeria for the practical part.
