Abo FPSO Extends Stay in Nigeria

Agip recently extended its contract with BW Offshore for the Abo FPSO, according to a statement released by the vessel owner.  BW Offshore states it has signed a short-term extension for Abo FPSO with Nigerian Agip Exploration Ltd, a subsidiary of ENI until August 14, 2023.

This extension follows several others earlier this year for the vessel. The Abo FPSO has been working on the Abo field in OML 125 offshore Nigeria with Eni’s subsidiary since production began in 2003.
